Macbook Pro does not want to match with WPA2 Pe...

Got the new 13-inch Macbook Pro without the Touch bar, but I realised that the Mac would not connect with my Wi-Fi which uses WPA2 Personal security. Typed in the password but it won't connect, asking me to go closer to the router every time. I realised that I also can't connect to my personal hotspot from my iPhone as well.

Funny thing is, when I try to connect to the Wi-Fi with my iPhone, it connects with no problem.

Help? I tried adding in Advanced Settings in Network and Assist Me... in Network as well. How likely it is that it is a hardware problem?
