SSD upgrade: DIY or get professionals to do it?
Hi,
I am thinking about getting an SSD for my MacBook Pro 13" 2011 and I was wondering, should I install it myself including data transfer, and is it easy enough to do it without risk? Or should I get it installed+data transfer for $180? I am not sure that I am ready to pay that money when the ssd itself is only $140. Also, I have some apps such as Microsoft Office, available for 1 mac, so if I get a new ssd it will recognise it as a new mac. Will the data transfer include application cloning? Any help appreciated.
