Add to Reminders from Safari does not save URL?

Why does adding a web site to Reminders only save the web site and not the complete URL?

Example:

1. Navigate to a page in (say) IMDB.com

2. Click the Share button in the toolbar and choose Reminders

3. Click OK to save a reminder

4. Look at the reminder .. the saved URL will just be imdb.com

This is pretty useless, as it strips out pretty much everything that would be useful about saving a reminder. If there any way to change this?

Drag the URL address to the Reminder?
