g7. no charge, no fuel gage, no sync. replace 4...

Also replaced screen  due to 2 dead lines. New one looks and works great! Now if I can get it to sync and charge.  Does Apple fix USB/Power control chips on these things?... Reasonably?

Tried different  cords, PC's, chargers, they all work with my Shuffle, and wife's IPhone. Firewire ort was cleaned and tight fit.  They are not the problem. No power going in. Diagnostic mode shows charge current of zero. ITunes and Windows won't acknowlege presence. Must be controller?
