Ho do I turn the right settings so I can make calls abroad cheers

When I am traveling abroad, I call my carrier and ask them to if they have a plan for international travel. I have used this in the past and have found the rates to be most reasonable.

If your carrier doesn't have such a plan then you might be forced to unlock it so that you will be able to use a SIM card available in the country to which you are traveling.

If you just turn on Roaming on your iPhone, you can expect to get some very high charges for any calls.
