iCloud Calendar Error CalCalDAVError 14

I changed the password on my icloud.  Now, on both my Mac and macbook I receive this error when I try to sync:  There was an unexpected error with the request. (domain CalCalDAVErrorDomain / error 14).

I have tried removing the calendar, signing out of iCloud, rebooting, then turning iCloud back on and still receive this error, and none of my calendars will sync.  I can log into iCloud just fine on an internet browser and see that my calendars are all there.  What is causing this error and how can I resolve?

Did you find out what this is? I have the same issue/

Not yet - still working on it.  So frustrating.

Same issue. I didn't even need to change my password for this . It just started out of the blue.

Other issues too - unable to see shared content in iTunes on my wife computer or mine - different apple ID's with family sharing enabled - this worked until we upgraded the OS.

I am currently working with the highest level Apple Advisor on this issue. I've spent over 5 hours ont he phone with them and it seems it is an issue with the most recent Sierra update. They are just learning of the issue thanks to folks like me willing to sit on line with them for 3+ hours.

Not sure when it will get fixed but I will post an update when I get confirmation.

Thank you!  I spent time with two representatives dialing into my systems to resolve without luck.  Please keep us posted!

I have the same issue with my wife MacBook Pro. Tried everything but still get this error. Sat on hold for over an hour and Apple can't figure it out. Hopefully someone fixes this soon.

Had same issue today after changing iCloud password - all Calendars disappeared, but still visible in iCloud; unable to reconnect and sync Calendar with iCloud.

Spent 1,5 hrs with technician in Apple store, could not resolve it.

Spent 1,5 hrs on phone with senior Mac representative, could not resolve it.

Conclusion: "Apple does not regularly read these discussion forums and was not aware of this issue; before we escalate the issue, try the following steps:

1) try first on an old laptop if the issue exists there as well before and after updating the system software on that laptop;

2) wait some time to see if it gets resolved in an update (this can take a few months);

3) try a complete reinstall of the system software (don't forget to backup);

4) from now on, work online in your iCloud instead of using your desktop Calendar.

I will keep you posted after I try step 1 on my old laptop.

My personal lesson: Turn off automatic updates and never update the system software until after at least 6 months and all the bugs are out.

I've had the same problem. One solution that has worked for me was to export the calendars from icloud website and import them to Google calendar. Then OsX calendar application can sync with Google calendar. Not an ideal solution (especially as I sync my calendar with my wife's macbook which doesn't have the error). I managed to get demo of Fantastical 2 app to link to the icloud calendar without any problem.

I like your idea and will explore it. Sounds logical.

My reminders also stopped updating, but again, work fine through Fantastical 2. So it seems iCloud server is fine, but more a software issue. OsX Calendar application with shared reminders and calendars also works fine on my wife's macbook.

Same problem. Apple escalated my issue to "engineering" a week ago. I've yet to hear back.  Assuming this is a relatively major problem they haven't yet figured out.

Please post a response if Apple come up with a solution!

My tech worked with me again today to get some data reports from my computer so the engineers could view them to see exactly what is occurring. Apple is now aware this is an issue with iCloud and the most recent OS X update and hopefully are working on fixing it. Most of my items that I sync with iCloud are all messed up including my iMessage, Contacts and iCal.
