Mac Air in boot loop

Since today morning my mac air (Mid 2013 model) has got into boot loop. It starts and before I login...or few times soon after logging in it restarts again. I tried doing power shutdown(by pressing the power button for 10 sec) but that didn't help. Then I thought of starting it in safe mode but again while the loading bar hasn't completed to the end it restarted again. I updated to High Sierra few days back. I more thing I noted was the light on Mac charger was continuously changing between orange and green. Also there was no charging seen on the desktop before it restarted again. I tried resetting the PRAM using command+shift+control+power button, but that also didn't help..

Can u suggest what is going wrong and what possibly can be done.
