Remote Sync without Apple Music

All,

I've been on the trial for Apple Music for nearly my three months now, with the possibility of jumping from Spotify to Apple Music.  Have to say, overall I've been disappointed.  Not with the song selection (that seems to be the same) but with the functionality from my desktop.  What I do like about Spotify is that when I play a playlist, once it's done, it continues on with other music instead of shutting off.  I haven't found that equivalent on Apple Music, and if it's the Radio function I'm supposed to be using, then that's a problem because I have had zero luck with that.  Between non-responsiveness and buffering issues, I gave up on that a few weeks back.  I've rebooted my computer, checked software updates, restarted router etc, etc, etc.  Playlists seem to go okay, but again they stop once they're done.  Also, I find the playlists, genres, moods etc. browsing and selection on Spotify much nicer than on Apple Music.  All that being said, one thing I did love is that once I had all my local library synced to iCloud, I could remotely access them from say my parents house, download to my device, and listen to it on the car ride home.  Is this feature something that is available at no cost?  If so, how can I set it up?  Right now, it's the only thing that has me hanging on to Apple Music (by a very thin thread!).

Thanks
