How do I turn off the camera sound on iPad pro?

I Need to screenshot things to insert into notability while I'm in class, and this iPad won't shut up. People think I'm taking pictures in class/library.  This is incredibly frustrating.  I don't understand the removal of the quiet button.

Just push the volume button down until its on silent....

Turning notification mute on via Control Centre (swipe up from the bottom edge of the iPad) might mute it - if using the camera then not all countries allow the shutter to be muted.

I'll try this, just muting the volume didn't work, not very good at 5am when everyone else is asleep.....

if I bought my iPad at Japan I would never be able to take photos without sound?

Iuse the iPad in Israel and it is allowed here to take pics on mute..
