I have an iMac and MacBook ...I received a 6 digit verification code from my macbook that supposedly will work to unlock any of my devices. When I use it to unlock my IMAc is says wrong code. Any help will do

The code will only work once and expires after a period of time. Make sure your iMac is updated to the latest version of macOS so it can properly utilize two-factor authentication.
