Siri watch OS 4 voice download

Siri still won’t speak on watch OS4.

 

Ive had my series 3 Apple Watch for four days now and every night I leave it turned on and connected to my phone while charging however it still tells me that Siri’s voice will download when it’s charging.

 

Is there anyway to force the download to start or does this take days??

Siri Speaks is not available all languages:

 

 

To check that a supported language is set for Siri on your Apple Watch, check your Siri settings on your iPhone: 

 

  • On your iPhone, go to: Settings > Siri & Search > Language

 

Then follow the instructions here to download the Siri voice to your Apple Watch:

 


I suggest leaving keeping your Apple Watch and iPhone near to each other and connected to power, whilst your iPhone is connected to your Apple Watch via Bluetooth and your iPhone has access to the Internet via Wi-Fi.


Note that Apple suggests leaving your Apple Watch charging overnight in order to download the Siri voice.

English is the language Im using and fitness the last four days I’ve left both my watch and phone connected, next to each other and charging. Also my phone is connected to my 360mb Home WiFi network.

 

Both my phone and watch are running the newest versions of their OS’s

It should certainly not take days.
