Unable to delete songs from iTunes 12.6.2.20 (2...

Hello All. I am working with iTunes on my PC. I have an album of songs that I want to delete from iTunes. So that it does not show up anymore at all in my iTunes software. It used to be easy to do this, but nothing is working in this version.

If I view by albums, I can right-click each song, a context menu comes up. There used to be an option to simply DELETE. Now I only see an option to "Delete From Library." That option is not grayed-out. I select it. The context menu simply goes away but the song still shows. It used to be that a further message would come up asking if you wanted to delete from iTunes but keep the actual MP3 file or delete the file as well. That message does not come up now. Nothing seems to happen when I select Delete From Library. The song just stays there.

Same exact story if I try to delete from the "Song" view.

I deleted the folder in which the MP3 files for the album reside. If I try to play one of the songs, or right-click and Get Info, a message comes up saying the file cannot be found and would I like to try to locate it. If I say NO, the song still stays in iTunes but has a circled exclamation point beside it. If I say YES, of course it wants me to browse to the file. But there is no option to say - hey, it's deleted, get rid of it.

Is there really no way to ever remove a song or album from iTunes now???
