IPAD 3 battery drains so fast

IPAD 3 battery drains so fast ( 60% to less than 5% in a second) and the devise restarts immediately. Unless i put it on charge it will not restart for use. Whats the problem and solution , please?

You need a new battery Make an appointment at Apple store For checking /replacement battery.
