Why is my iTunes telling me “could not ma...

So, I recently updated my phone to IOS 11. And my iTunes/App Store refuses to work. It keeps saying “iTunes could not make any purchases at this time, please try again later.”  I have all valid information on my card, so please help.

Try again later. Apple servers are really busy today, so could just be too busy at this time.
