Why is the iOS 11 update not available for my i...

I have an iPad 4th gen using iOS 10.3.3. Why is the new iOS11 not available for update on this device?

YOur iPad runs on a 32 bit architecture. iOS11 is 64 bit only....so kinda like trying to put a DVD into a CD player...it just lacks the hardware to handle the software.

On the upside, it will continue to function just as it does now. It’s still perfectly usable, it just has reached the end of its support life.

Thanks... I wondered about that...and yes it runs just fine. I like some of th updates that are on my iPhone so hoping for some of that....
