Activity App Not Giving Awards; Updates

I’ve updated to OS 4 but the Activity app has taken a major hit in this update. Will Apple soon be pushing out another update to rectify the loss of awards? Furthermore, what needs to be done to ensure users are receiving backdated awards? It’s frustrating because I missed out on my September award of completing another PERFECT month.

The following steps may help:

• On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Passcode > check that Wrist Detection is turned on.
• On your iPhone, in the Watch app, to go: My Watch (tab) > Health.
  • If the setting for Wheelchair currently states "Not Set", then tap on Edit (upper-right) > tap on "Not Set" and change it to "Yes" or "No" as appropriate (options are shown in the bottom area of the screen) > tap on Done (upper-right).
• Restart your Apple Watch (normally):
  • Restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support
• Monitor performance after making any changes.

Thank you. All of those things have been done and done multiple times. My activity is being tracked and all goals met, but the award system and completion of set goals isn’t registering. Thanks again for the troubleshooting sugges

The following further steps may help:

• If you have not yet done so, update your iPhone to the latest software version (currently iOS 11.0.1):
  • Update the iOS on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

• Close certain apps and restart (normally) both your iPhone and your Apple Watch:
  • Close the Watch app, Activity app and Health app (if open) on your iPhone:
    • Double-click the Home button, then swipe up on each app preview to close the apps.
  • Turn both devices off together, then restart your iPhone first:
    • Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
    • Restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support

• If missing achievements are not credited in the Activity app immediately after following these steps, wait until the next day to see whether they are instead credited then.

If the issue then persists, it may help to follow these further steps:

• Unpair your Apple Watch via the Watch app:
  • Unpair your Apple Watch and iPhone - Apple Support
• Make an encrypted backup of your iPhone:
  • If using iTunes, be sure to choose the option to Encrypt iPhone backup.
  • iCloud backups are encrypted as standard.

• Restore your iPhone to factory settings (with a fresh copy of iOS) using iTunes:
  • Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
• Restore your iPhone from the encrypted backup;
  • Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support
• Re-pair your Apple Watch, setting it up either as a new watch or restoring from backup:
  • Set up your Apple Watch - Apple Support
• If missing achievements are not credited immediately upon completing the steps, then again wait and see whether they are credited the next day.

My phone was updated to the latest a week prior to my downloading OS 4 and nothing still. I’m grateful for your suggestions, but these are things I’ve already done at the troubleshooting stage. I’ll try the last couple of steps you mentioned again, but it’s such a pain having to do all of this.

If this doesn’t work, I’ll head to the Apple Store and see if they can do something that I’m missing in all these steps I’ve been following.
