Unable to resize iTunes column browser

Hello, I had issue for last few years with iTunes being unable to resize my column browser.  I could change the number of columns shown, and have the browser shown or hidden ... but, I was not able to adjust vertically (to show more artists, etc.).  Over Thanksgiving downtime, I made a clean load of iTunes (to start with a new library file) and everything was working properly again.  However, now just one day into use of new library (and now with all my music loaded back in!), I had just made the column browser small, and now it has locked up again to the same issue ... only two lines of information are visible in column browser and I cannot resize/expand it any longer.  Any ideas would be helpful!  I have a large music collection and it is a mode I would like to use often for sorting.imported all my music.  Using iTunes 11.1.3.8 on Windows 7.

Now I'm having this same issue with iTunes 12 (Windows 8.1)

OK, I *was* able to fix this. I hovered my mouse over the top portion of one of the column headers in the main pane below the column browser, and although I didn't see the double-arrow mouse pointer, I was able to drag and resize the column browser.

Ahhhhh! You saved me!  This has been driving me up the wall!!!

Bump. You're a mental-health-saver. I've been trying to fix this for two years.

Dude - Thanks for this. I thought this was just crazy bad development. Simple rollover icon change would really help eh!
