Battery to charge 100% may effect the battery h...

I have some questions regarding the battery and cycle count of Macbook Pro over Determining battery cycle count for Mac notebooks - Apple Support

What if I don't let the battery to charge 100%, as if I charge the battery till 90% and wait till it is consumed to 20-30% and then again charge to 90%, then what would be the cycle count calculation?
Can't I set somewhere that to charge only 90%? Any software or plugin

As the charging, 100% affect the health of the battery.

Is Mac OS update would help in this matter?

Yes, charging in that pattern will contribute to "charge cycles"

There is no software to do what you wish, nor is there a need.

You can charge at any time, for any amount of time.

You can use the device while charging.

You can leave it attached to the charging circuit after the battery reaches 100%.

Do NOT deplete the battery to low levels.
