Is there a way to automatically disable wi
My home has a cat5e network, and when I'm at home I often plug my MacBook Pro in via a USB-C to ethernet adapter since it's faster and more reliable to use that connection instead of wireless at home. I normally disable my wireless network when I'm connected in that manner. What I was wondering is if there is a way to automatically disable wi-fi when I have my MBP connected to the wired network, and reenable it when it's not?
Thank you.
Goto: System Preferences > Network
Click on the lock at the bottom left to unlock to make changes
In the panel on the left hand side, click on Ethernet and drag to the top of the list
This is the order in which the computer searches for connections
If the Ethernet is not connected it will try the next option etc.
