iPhone Activation

So, i've reset my iPhone 5s a few days ago and when I try to activate it, it asks me to sign into my Apple ID, enter password. So, I do that. Then, it asks me to connect to iTunes in order to activate it, I do that too. So then, it wants me to login on iTunes, do that. And then! I get "Activation required" right after i've done all of the things it asked me to do in order to activate, unlock my iPhone. Alright, so I figured it was a bug perhaps and I re-enter everything, do everything it needs me to do in order to activate my iPhone. I still get the same thing "Activation required" and it takes me all the way back to the login. So, I give up and then try it again 2 days after all of this, I get the same popup. It'll also say "Activation servers are unavailable" behind the "Activation required" prompt. So, I really don't understand what to do.

Sorry for the long reply. I'd prefer not to solve this through call if that's alright? If I have to though I probably will. I just don't want to be frustrated and scrambled on the phone. If there's some way we can do this through text that'd be a lot better.
