Help, files not saving properly, no preview, wo...

Hi guys!

Last night I encountered a problem with saving files, basically every time I try to save a file from photoshopCC to my Macbook the files don't seem to be saving correctly. For example the files take forever to open/preview (despite their small file size), the preview images in finder don't show, the files won't even upload anywhere on the internet (which is a huge problem right now a I have some deadlines that require uploads).

I've tried all different file types, I even tried putting one of the files into the folder in which I sync to my iphone almost every day, synced my phone and the 'steps' get stuck at 5 of 6, and the file wouldn't add to my phone.

This is so bizarre, it has never happened before, I've tried all sorts of files/images as well so it's not just happening to a particular file or image etc, created new files of the images affected, many restarts etc, tried everything in desperate need to save and upload. I'm mostly just saving in jpg. but I haven't changed anything I've been doing for years. I even updated my mac software this morning and my photoshop CC, thinking it might be a slight glitch but that didn't help.

When saving the small jpg files it also seems to take a bit longer, rather than the few second save it seems to lag a bit.

I honestly have no idea how to fix this as I'm not sure what's wrong, I'm doing nothing different to how I'd usually work, it just happened all of a sudden. It's not even that complicated, just simple small jpg files, even tried tiff. and png. and same situation, no previews, forever to load in 'preview' even causing preview to freeze, when I try to upload these small files, I have a min of 10mb worth of space to upload, yet it won't even accept the 7mb, telling me the file is "too big" which is clearly isn't :/

If anyone can please help that would be most wonderful, I'm worried I'll miss my deadlines all because a 7mb jpg. won't upload in the upload field (despite successfully uploading another file hours before).

The files affected seem to be very random as well, and even when I try to duplicate or start fresh with the file it doesn't make a difference :/
