Siri wakes up but no longer replies to Hey Siri...

After update to ios11 on iPad Pro, ”Hey Siri” no long functions correctly. It wakes up, but just gives a brief flash then doesn’t respond. It works fine when holding home button. I have tried turning Siri on and off, resetting network and hard reset.

I see that you're unable to get Siri to respond when you say "Hey Siri". Siri does respond when you use the Home button alone. I'm happy to help.

I had already tried all the suggested fixes.  Siri obviously hears me because the iPad flashes to the Siri screen then goes off. If I say “Hey Siri” around 10 times, I finally get a response and it will work for as long as i'm using the iPad. Then after My iPad has been asleep for a few hours, the same thing happens again. It's as though Siri has taken a sleeping pill and is having trouble waking up!
