Unable to removed rented movie

Hi, I have a film showing in my iTunes library which i rented a few ago. I transferred the film to my ipad, watched it and deleted the iPad version. Usually when i do this the film disappear from my iMac when i synch the iPad but it hasn't this time and I have no idea how to remove it? Any suggestions please?

I understand that you have removed a rented movie from your iPad, but now you would like to remove it from iTunes on your iMac as well. I'm happy to provide some help for this.
