How iTunes deals with playlists to be synced

With the new way iTunes is dealing with playlists I would like to start over but not remove any playlists from iTunes. Can I remove the playlists from the sync folder but keep them in the library?  In previous versions I was able to uncheck playlists before I started the sync, now I can't find a way to uncheck all the playlists so I can start over.

I hope this is understandable.
