iMac with Two Internal Drives

How can I get the most out of my iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) that have two internal drives, HDD (1 TB) and SSD (128 GB) ?

Will its performance increase if I install two operating systems (e.g. macOS High Sierra), one on each drive ?
