My macOS Sierra Version 10.12.6 Mac mini(Late 2014) issue is with Messages.

* I can see all my previous messages but now every time it try to send out messages I cannot on my mac but yet both my iPhone 7Plus & my iPad work just fine with messages.

*WHY?

I am seeing "Google Talk" in the conversation bar I see BUDDIES across the top bar, I see JABBER at bottom left corner of Messages screen.

* When I open a new Message request and type in my Family members I get an error that they are NOT registered.

* When I tried to adjust the account I am getting GOOGLE as the ONLY account available.

* How did GOOGLE take over my MESSAGES on my Mac Mini?

* How do I get this fixed?

I figured out that I needed to click on MESSAGES link at upper left corner then click on Accounts.

In here I had 4 different choices:

1. iMessages

2. Google Talk

3. Jabber

4. Bonjour

I signed up for these other 3 years ago and did not realize that I have these wonderful options in here.
