Help, my home WiFi signal suddenly stops working

This problem has happened twice in the last month. After waking the computer from sleep it can't find my home WiFi router. Turing the WiFi off and back on will capture the signal but if I try to load a webpage, Safari freezes after the progress bar is about a quarter of the way across. The only fix is to reboot the computer and then everything returns to normal.

Anyone have any ideas?
