How can I update to iOS 8.0 on my IPhone?

Hi Sir,

I'm having a problem right here, I need some applications to work on my IPhone , and it is something necessary for me. Please Answer my question as soon as possible. How can I get iOS 8.0 on my IPhone to install some other applications?

An iPhone 4 can be upgraded to iOS 7.1.2

An iPhone 4S can be upgraded to iOS 9.3.4. There is no way to update to iOS 8.

If this is an iPhone 4S, if you have updated beyond iOS 8, it's not possible to revert to a prior IOS version.

An iPhone 4S can be upgraded to iOS 9.3.4. There is no way to update to iOS 8.

You cannot update to iOS 8.

Ok so am I able to update ios 9 to my iphone 4 or it only goes up to ios 7
