Windows Server 2012 on MacPro

Hi all, I'm currently using a Mac Pro 1,1 as a file server with Plex, and recently found out that they don't support versions older than Mountain Lion. Since this is too old to support this OS for whatever reason, I decided to install Windows Server 2012 onto another drive. Bootcamp wouldn't work through the OS so i had to do it another way, but i got it on there and have the Bootcamp drivers installed without an issue. Everything is working perfectly, but with one hiccup. I have the server set to turn itself off at night via a scheduled task, and i have been noticing that it shuts down according to what it's supposed to do, but then it turns itself back on. When i manually shut it down using the start menu, it stays off which i find odd since the shutdown.exe command i the same in both cases.

Could the logic board be getting in the way of this? Like I'm trying to figure out if the "restart after a power failure" option is checked within the Mac side. Could that cause this, or is something else to blame?
