Please i need help FAST

Ok so, today about two hours ago i decided to clear my macbook pro. I didn't save any of my old stuff to a hard drive because i didn't need any of it. So i restart my computer, go to the macOs Utilities and clear my hard drive and try to reinstall os x el capital but it takes forever so i tried to restart my computer again but that didnt work either. And when reinstalling os x el capital it didnt ask my icloud so im very confused what do i do.

Reinstalling can take a long time. As long as it is making progress, let it go. A restart should begin the re-install from where it left off. It will not ask for your Apple ID. What is happening with yours?
