MacBook Air (early 2015) issues

I have a MacBook Air (early 2015). The speakers often crackle past the 1/2 way mark for sound and the USB ports do no stay connected to my iPhone or iPad, even with a genuine apple cord.   I have tried all the suggestions apple gave me about reset various things but nothing is working.   Any other suggestions?

these sound like hardware problems that are not controlled by software or firmware. I would suggest taking the device into an Apple authorized repair center for an evaluation
