photos on iPhone not appearing on iMac

I have updated to IOS 11 on iPhone and iMac.  On my iPhone it says I have 333 photos on iCloud and on my iMac when I go into iCloud it says I have 225 or thereabouts.   I also get the message on my iPhone telling me 30 photos did not download to iCloud.   I did run out of space on my iPhone but now I have 2.9gb of 5gb after deleting a fair amount.

I have ticked all the right boxes on iPhone and iMac.  Looked up lots of support answers and done everything suggested but still my photos do not appear on my iMac like they used to.  Can somebody please help me, not too technical though as I am a 71 yr old lady who is pulling her hair out!!!
