Windows bootcamp magic mouse icon stuck on screen

I'm using Windows 10 on my Macbook Air and sometimes when i enable my magic mouse the icon that should only display temporarily stays stuck on my screen forever, i have to reboot to get rid of it.

Just now i pressed the key to change my keyboard illumination and now that icon is stuck on my screen, it doesn't go away. This is what it looks like:

I also noticed the bootcamp control panel is not as responsive as it should be, right clicking the icon takes about 20 seconds to bring up the context menu and then when i click the option to open the configuration screen it takes another 20 seconds to load that and the same with each tab i click in the dialog screen.

How can i troubleshoot this?
