Problem converting

When I try sharing to iTunes, it gets stuck at the "Converting" stage. I see the blue and white status bar moving, but nothing happens, even after 20 minutes.

Try to disable the checkbox in the iTunes Preferences ➤ Advanced ➤ Share iTunes Library XML

There are some issues with the new iTUnes and for some people that fixed it (but not for others)

Just wondering that myself! I just recorded an interview and this is the first time I've had this issue :/

I did a Force Quit and lost the project. Dammit   Thankfully I'd noted down about 90% of the content.

Edgar, thank you for taking the time to explain, I'm sure you saved me plenty of down time.  Shutting off the "share iTunes," in iTunes preferences worked for conversion from Garageband to iTunes.  But then, if you want to import an iTunes file back to Garageband, you have to turn that preference back to on, so that Garageband can see the listings from iTunes.
