My Mac does not mark messages as read

My Mac (macOS Sierra 10.12.6) does not mark messages as read, which were read on on the iPhone  or IPad with the same ID as read. On MacBook everything fine. What can I do? There are a lot of "not read" messages, I try to mark everything out immediately as read, but they again become unread.
