Piano Roll Editing And Mouse Frustration

Please help me, I can't find help anywhere else. When I'm in the piano roll, in Logic Pro x, I start editing midi notes or bars (not sure what the green bar things are called) and my Magic Mouse pointer starts moving around like I'm swiping up and down on it during a seizure. Its not an issue with the mouse, I know this because the movement is extremely beyond accurate. Its the touch sensor on the mouse, its too precise and moves when I accidentally move my finger a microscopic amount, thus shifting the midi note around and launching it into outer space basically. SO, to sum it up, the touch sensor on my mouse is way too accurate when I'm right clicking and dragging midi notes in the piano roll. Is there a way to turn off touch scrolling in the piano roll? Or should I just get an old HP mouse and grow a caveman beard? Please help, the frustration is overpowering I can hear voices begging me to eat a bullet or 10.
