Can not publish via Flickr

I was able to share photos from OSX finder directly to Flickr before.

Now when I select files and want to share them to Fickr, the usual dialog box asking for tags and description appears but the "Publish" button is disabled and it

s saying "ShareKit is not authorized to share files"

How to solve this?

Back up all data before proceeding.

Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

~/Library/Containers/com.apple.ShareKitHelper

Right-click or control-click the line and select

Services Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)

from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Quit the application if it's running. Move the selected item to the Trash. Relaunch the application and test.

*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination  command-C. In the Finder, select

          Go Go to Folder...

from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

It didn't help. Is ShareKit intrinsic to OSX?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.

The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select

SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages

from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select

          View ▹ Show Log List

from the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then take one of the actions that you're having trouble with. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.

The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.

Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.

Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

I was seeing the same ShareKit error.  Removing and re-adding the account from/to System Preferences > Internet Accounts seems to have fixed it on the Yosemite Mac in question, but a Mavericks machine (signed into the same "Internet Account") also displayed "No account configured" (but naturally "Add Account" does not work, since "only one Flickr account can be used at a time") and still does after the removal and re-adding propagated to it.

I have the same problem. I am so irritated!  I have used Flikr seamlessly for my classes (I'm a History Professor) using my old MacBook 17" and this year my new MacBook Pro.  Now, I get the same error message for "sharekit" (never heard of it till an hour ago... wasted hour).  Your "fix" failed for me. Why does Apple dicker with its OS creating such headaches for people like me who just want consistency?  I am now back to old fashioned cut and paste and upload to Flikr till I can get to my PC at work. You guys at Apple are close to losing a long time (many years) customer.
