Video Artifacts

Just picked up the 10.5 Pro and went to video a night game.  It was less than stellar see my snapshot below.  My ipad air did not create this effect around the lights, neither did my iphone 6plus.  About to return it, as I really wanted its upgraded night time abilitites, but my video is even worse than the picture shows!  Any thoghts before it goes back?
