If I take out my hard drive, will I be able to ...

I currently have a mid 2012 13" MBP. I figured it's starting to get a little dated and I've noticed some issues. My thought is I want to purchase a new laptop but I'm thinking I want to go the PC route, not sure which on yet but it will definitely be better than what I have now. Will I be able to partition the hard drive on my new PC, Download OSX to the partition, and then copy my Mac's hard drive to that PC and have dual OS's potentially triple OS's (linux)? Also, any recommendations on PC's? I'm looking for something with at least 16GB RAM and a 500GB-1TB SSD (or nothing and have it be upgradeable) with an i7 processor, I'm currently in school for software engineering and need something that will last a long time. I know this is an apple community but any help is appreciated. Thank you!

No, neither macOS, nor your Mac's HD's contents will not work on a PC without adaptations. You'd have to create a "hackintosh" which is beyond the bounds of this forum.

it is specifically precluded by the Apple software license agreement to run any version of MacOS on other than Apple Hardware.

You can run Windows or Linux on your Mac if you purchase a copy, but not the reverse.

If your computer is too slow, perhaps it just needs a few tweaks to get MUCH faster. Post an etrecheck report and Readers can help with that.
