How can I find the names for my MacBook Pro USB...
Using ls /dev/* lists a dozen or more names, but none of them indicate USB. The names are all cryptic, so how can I tell which ones are actually for my USB ports?

Bob
Try entering the following command in Terminal: system_profiler SPUSBDataType
Thanks for this. That command gives a lot of information about USB ports, except for the device name used to reference them (As far as I could see). Am I not seeing something in that information?

I'm just guessing
