iTunes 12.7 deleted my entire music library

Without thinking much of it, I updated iTunes to 12.7. REALLY BAD IDEA!  The only music left in iTunes is music I've purchased through Apple.  EVERYTHING else is gone!  Also, the apps are no longer in shown and there's no way to download iPhone apps via iTunes.  This is without a doubt the worst iTunes update ever. 

I didn't have all of my music on my iPhone so many days of work is gone.  How do I revert back to 12.6 AND how do I get my music library back?

Okay.  That got my music back.  Thank you!

NOW .. how do I get rid of iTunes 12.7 and go back to iTunes 12.6?  As I said above, I've tried the delete and rename an archived .itl recommendation but that hasn't helped .. it's still 12.7.
