Where is the keyboard button or combination to enable wi-fi on Macbook? I can't believe there's no such function keys, since I know all Windows-based laptops have one.

I can't login with my network account, because Wi-fi is disabled/off. I don't have a local account.

Hi,

There is no keyboard button.

If it's not already in the top menu bar to just click on, go to System Preferences > Network > check the box for "Show Wi-Fi status in menu bar."

You got to be kidding me, right? A multi-billion dollar company not putting a Wi-Fi button on its flagship laptop product??!! So let's say user disables wi-fi by mistake while logged on, then shuts down the Macbook. When he/she turns it back on, he/she cannot log on, because Wi-Fi is disabled & he/she cannot turn it back on. Are you telling me he/she has to re-install the OS??!!

I did say that I CANNOT log in. So how am I going to get to any menu bar, if I can't log in??!!!

There must be some misunderstanding/miscommunication here. Wi-Fi has nothing to do with logging in to your Mac. Nothing. You can turn your Wi-Fi on or off, it doesn't matter. If you turn it off for some unfathomable reason, when you log in to your Mac again, simply go to the menu bar and select Turn Wi-Fi On. If it's not the network you want, select the one you want. If it's not listed, select Join Other Network and choose the desired network.
