Do I need to update email on receipt?

I recently had a Macbook bought for me.

The person who bought it has emailed me a copy of the receipt. Do I need to update the name and email address so they have mine rather than the person who actually bought the product?

The Apple ID and Mac are registered in my name, it's just the receipt of the mac that doesn't have my name on.

If the Mac is already registered in your name, you don't need to do it again. The receipt must have been created before they received the change of ownership information.
