logic pro x wouldnt open garageband files

Hi guys I recently started using Logic Pro X and GarageBand and I tried to import GarageBand files from my iPad and it worked fine even in logic but theres one particular file that keep crashing it just wouldn't open it and I really need to get the midi files into the Logic Pro x . I know there’s an option of exporting audio format files of each track and importing it into Logic but I don't wanna do that as I need to get the midi files. Any ideas or suggestions what to do? Thank you :)
