New iCloud terms and conditions keep popping up...

New icloud terms and conditions keep popping up on my iPhone. When I select View Terms, it's not there! Very annoying! Do something!



Well, putting your technical question in the form of a demand isn't the best way to get a quick response. We are all volunteers here....

 

Anyway - here are a couple of things you can try to fix your issue:

 

1.     Go into Settings>General, and make sure your Restrictions are not turned on. If they are, turn them off temporarily

 

2.     Go to Settings>Safari, and make sure that "Block Cookies" under Security and Privacy is not set to "Always". If it is, change it to either of the other two settings

 

See if that will allow you to accept the Terms and Conditions.

I have been having the same very annoying problem for over a week now.

 

Tried both of those; my restrictions are not on. My 'block cookies' is not set to 'always'.

 

I have deleted my iCloud account and re-signed in.

 

I've tried going to my icloud account on a desktop mac, and cannot find terms to agree to.

 

I deleted my iCloud account again, and restarted my iPhone 5. It still promped my to accept the new terms, even though the account is signed out/deleted.

 

 

 

Do I really have to start a service ticket, and be charged a fee to get this solved?



So, I signed back in to iCloud, it did not show any kind of terms acceptance screen. It let me sign on. It merged my Safari data, reminders, etc.

 

And now it is asking me to accept the new terms again, and will not give the opportunity to accept terms.

 

Back to square one.



Hi Scott,

 

Delete your iCloud account from your phone again, Reset Network Settings (General>Reset>Reset Network Settings), and also reset your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds).

 

Once the home screen redisplays, set up your Wifi, and then log back into iCloud to see if it will let you accept your Terms and Conditions.

I have been having the same problem. I did everything you suggested and still the "New iCloud Terms and Conditions" keeps popping up andit is now popping up more frequently!
Any other solutions would greatly be appreciated.

I don't know if this will work, and can't test it because I'm not getting a prompt for new Terms and Conditions, but try signing out of iCloud on your computer and then signing back in to see if it will prompt you there. You might have better luck accepting them on the computer....

I had the same problem and tried everything on this page without success then stumbled on the solution. I found the Terms and Conditions button in my @me.com email account in settings. Seems to have solved the problem. I hope it helps someone.



Thank you - we've spent literally hours trying everything to reset the ipad, delete the account, erase from the web, update, restore and this was the solution all along

Thanks! It was the restrictions thing on my son's phone. Super frustrating as we use it for medical reasons and to have it suddenly not work because of a pop up thing. Argh! Thanks very much!
