After updating my iMac to High Sierra I no long...

After I updated my Mac to High Sierra, I can no longer select on an attachment to an eMail that I want to send to view the attachement as an icon instead of the full attachment.  Is that  no longr an available option.  Nothing in Preferences how to change it?
