Is there no way to open control center without ...

Hi all, I’ve upgraded to iOS 11 and generally love the new software experience.  My only gripe is with the new control center access.  Previously while working I could swipe with one hand, adjust volume or brightness, etc. And then move on without the app completely going away.

In in the new update it goes to the fancy new multitasking app switcher viewer just the new dock.  Is there anywhere to change it back to show contropcenter and then the app switcher? My issue is when I want to access control center to quickly adjust brightness or volume or Bluetooth, now the experience is completely segmented.  I have to let the app I’m in completely go into the switcher, or hold it with one hand while using control center with the other before bringing it back.  The previous method was just faster and less clunky...

If there’s no hope for now, maybe Apple could think ahead of finding another mechanic so that contro center goes back to being one swipe instead of multiple away? It was built for convenience but I might as well multitask into the settings app with the current setup on iPad...  unfortunate ca for having a great multitasking center

Hi. I was wondering the same thing. It is a little inconvenient when you just want to check the music or adjust the volume. I does seem like there is no alternative to opening dock, task switcher, and Control Center, the whole shootin' match. Send feedback to Apple at this link: Feedback - iPad - Apple, and hope it makes a difference.
