How do I fix an iPad that has went on the blink ?

I have just recently purchased an iPad Pro a couple of months ago. The device has been running smoothly up until last night where I found myself not being able to access the device at all. The screen had went black and was not responding at all I tried holding in the power button and there was no response to that either. I also tried the method in which you hold the home button and power button together but still there was no response. I have been taken extreme care with the device. My only concern is that this iPad was used for my educational purposes which now has left me in a major problem as I don’t have any of my notes to work from as the iPad has went on the blink. If you can help me that would be much appreciated. Thanks

Try plugging the iPad into a computer running iTunes.  Plugging the ipad into a computer may cause a connection that will cause the iPad to start responding.  If plugging it in doesn’t work, then try doing a reset while it’s plugged into the computer by pressing the Sleep/Wake button and Home Button for ~10 seconds till you see the Apple logo.  If you do not see it after pressing and holding for some time, then you may need to take it to an Apple store and have them take a look at it at the Genius Bar in the store.  They will be able to give you insight as to if there is anything that can be done.  If it’s dead, being that it is only a few months old, should still be under warranty and Apple will be able to tell you what you can do to get the unit replaced.  As far as the notes that you have taken, if you had them set to backup to iCloud, then if you have to get a new device, you should be able to get them back from iCloud on the new device.  If you did not have any backups saved, then you’re notes will be gone if the device is dead.

Hi

Try another reboot press the power button down & menu button hold both down until you see apple logo this can take 30 seconds.

You may  need to restore ipad using your pc

Turn ipad off Make sure your pc is running the latest iTunes 12.7

Connect lead to USB on your pc

Press & hold just the power button down on ipad don't let go

Connect lead to ipad keep power button pressed down until pc sees ipad Then wait for restore you may need to do this more than once Before it works.

Let me  know if this works.

Cheers

Brian
