series 2 upgrade from a 38 to 42

Can i upgrade my apple watch series 2 38 to a 42mm after only having it for 6 months.

Apple's Standard Return Policy in the US, for example, allows for an Apple Watch purchased directly from Apple to be returned for a refund or exchange within 14 days of original purchase.

 

Apple does not currently offer either a trade-in program or an upgrade program for Apple Watch.

 

You may wish to consider selling your Apple Watch privately and putting the proceeds towards your new purchase. If doing so, be sure to follow Apple's instructions for unpairing your Apple Watch and turning off Activation Lock, such that it is left ready for a new user to set up as their own:
