Can I go back to iOS 10 to retrieve data?

After I updated my iPhone 6 to iOS 11 there are apps that don't work anymore and I have no access to the data in them. Can I restore iOS 10 and get the data back?

Apple does not support downgrading the iOS.  iOS 11 requires all apps to be 64 bit compatible.  Contact the app developer to see if they have (or will have) a 64 bit version soon.
